“Okay…seriously now…who were the Qajars?”

The Qajars were an Iranian royal family that ruled from 1785-1925.

People (historians, Iranians, any who claim that they’re experts) give the Qajars a lot of flack for Iran’s late modernization, but I’ve made it one of my life goals to show them all that the Qajars were pretty baller and not all bad.

“Did they REALLY have sexy unibrows and huge mustaches??”

“But why isn’t everything on this about the Qajars?”

Well, that’s because WWTQ (nifty abbreviation) is about more than just the Qajars. It started out as a personal blog. Naturally, it evolved into a platform for my interests and research, so I changed the title to better reflect the nature of most of the content.

I’ll still post about other topics as well, most of which will be somewhat historically related to the Middle East or current events worldwide.
